May They not be forgotten

The talking heads...............on abc, cbs, nbc, fox, msnbc, and a myriad of others are all talking about the heroic sacrifice so many have made to their country on the tv's all over the land this morning and will likely do so on up till noon time.

It seems ironic that they'll show their hypocrisy in such brazen fashion, after spending day after day after day putting out talking points about how cruel and sadistic our soldiers are, and how wrong this war is, and of course what an idiot George Bush is.

Of course they are just talking heads, reading the tele-prompter in front of them, and getting a deer in the headlights look if they ever have to resort to the typed notes on the table in front of them.

In the first place, I'll guarantee that not a single one of our military would sacrifice themselves to this country, but to a man or woman gladly would sacrifice themselves for their comrades, or for the Ideals this country is supposed to stand for.

And I'll bet a gram of .99 fine gold that our fighting men and women understand the differences. And for sure their loved ones do.

And so I offer up a humble prayer that they'll be protected. That no more white crosses are added to the huge number that already dot this land. And, yet, I know there will be, so I change my prayer to; May they not be forgotten.
