Big Trucks

It seems to me a male thing to love big, loud, high-wheeled 4X4's. And they are not popular in just America either.

Although their cost of gas is much higher than ours, they seem to have just as hard a time giving up their high priced toys and are just as quick to fall into debt to finance their lifestyle.

A great part of the world ruled by central banks may be in for a rude shock.

I thought long and hard before I traded in my little VW Jetta for a large, black 4 x 4. But I moved from 41 miles to work to 7 miles to work, so back and forth for me now is only 14 miles total two or three days a week. (I "truck" pool with coworkers who live nearby) I also bought last years model, already depreciated, selling my old vehicle only when it was paid off to buy the newer vehicle. I'm large and four by four equipped. . NOT stupid.

And I feel a LOT safer in a big truck on the narrow, snow covered country hills around here.

I'll assume that your's doesn't have huge, over sized, spiked tires.
I drive a full size Dodge Ram V8, but it's almost 9 years old. I bought it at 1 year old with 35k miles on it. It has long been paid for and now has 308K miles. Sorta off sets the high gas prices. And I agree......it is safer. With 42 years of driving legally behind me and no serious accidents......I taking no chances.
