I've no idea if......................

.......This is true or not. Any of you want to check it feel free.

Update: Most of this post has been deleted because it was found not to hold water. Thank you to those who went to the trouble to correct my bad information.

That doesn't in any way reduce my respect for the men and women who are, and have served our country in shooting wars. Whatever their reasons for doing what they do, they deserve our respect and support.

America 's real heroes don't flaunt what they did; they quietly go about their day-to-day lives, doing what they do best. They earned our respect and the freedoms that we all enjoy.

Look around and see if you can find one of those heroes in your midst.

Often, they are the ones you'd least suspect, but would most like to have on your side if anything ever happened.

Take the time to thank anyone that has fought for our freedom.

This country is full of these kinds of men. And we have many of those same kind, both men and women, serving in the armed forces today. If you have a moment you might send a quite prayer to whatever or whomever you send your prayers, that they'll be given the support and respect that they deserve.. Not that they ask for it, but we owe it to them.

This is an old, old, old urban legend. Mr. Rodgers was not a SEAL. VeriSeal has debunked this so many times for years that they don't even answer inquiries about it anymore. Hopefully they'll post something to kill this dumb rumor once and for all.

But Lee Marvin was a Marine in WWII, just none of the rest of it is true.

snopes.com also has the truth about all this bull.
